4th museum by Herzog & de Meuron in the United States

Parrish art museum in Soupthampton, New York, presented changed plans for their New Building by Swiss based architects Herzog&deMeuron. Museum asked architects to reduce the building, in an effort to reduce price tag and acres of a building´s size. Although smaller in its realization, the architects’ basic design concept remains unchanged. The building will be divided to a series of separate pavilions housing small galleries lit by north-facing skylights. Area around the building is designed as very quite as the authors plan to remove the traffic and the parking underground.
